Designer ES in Visual Communication, specialisation in graphic novels, comics and illustration

Azriel is a bilingual Filipino artist based in Switzerland and a member of Splotch. Drawn in by video games and animated movies as a child, he’s developed a love of illustration and fantasy. As an adult, he’s focused a lot on his identity and the various facets that make him who he is: diaspora, neurodivergence and queerness. All these pieces of him make their way into his art one way or another.

Azriel received a CFC with Maturité Professionnelle in Interactive Media Design after a 4 year course at CFPArts. He completed his thesis comic “Wara Pagkabuot: fruits of enmity” in 2025 after 2 years of study at ESBDI and received his certificate with honour.
